Fatiha Marriage is a Muslim matchmaking service that:

• Collects profiles from individuals seeking marriage
• Formats and posts profiles to a WhatsApp distribution channel
• Facilitates introductions between compatible individuals
• Operates on Islamic principles of halal courtship

1.2 What We Are NOT

• We are NOT a marriage bureau with guaranteed matches
• We do NOT conduct background checks or verify information
• We do NOT arrange marriages or act as a wali (guardian)
• We do NOT provide counseling or religious guidance

2. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally eligible to marry
• Have the sincere intention of seeking marriage
• Provide truthful and accurate information
• Be a Muslim or genuinely interested in marrying a Muslim

3. Profile Submission

3.1 Accuracy of Information

You agree that:

• All information you provide is truthful and accurate
• You will update us if any information changes significantly
• You will not misrepresent yourself in any way

3.2 Profile Content

You are responsible for the content of your profile. You agree NOT to include:

• False or misleading information
• Offensive, inappropriate, or explicit content
• Contact information of others without permission
• Copyrighted material you don't have rights to use
• Any content that violates Islamic principles of modesty

3.3 Profile Distribution

You understand and consent to:

• Your profile being posted publicly on our WhatsApp channel
• Your profile being shared with potential matches
• Your profile appearing in a rotation system (10 profiles posted daily)
• Being unable to control who sees your public profile

4. User Conduct

4.1 Islamic Principles

You agree to:

• Conduct yourself in accordance with Islamic values
• Maintain modesty and respect in all interactions
• Approach marriage with sincerity and good intentions
• Involve your wali (guardian) as appropriate

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You will NOT:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the service for dating, casual relationships, or haram purposes
• Share explicit or inappropriate content
• Impersonate another person
• Use the service for commercial purposes
• Scrape, copy, or harvest user data
• Create multiple profiles without authorization
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

5. No Guarantees

5.1 Matches

We do NOT guarantee:

• That you will find a suitable match
• The number of responses you will receive
• The quality or suitability of potential matches
• How long it will take to find a match

5.2 Verification

We do NOT:

• Verify the identity of users
• Conduct background checks
• Confirm marital status or other claims
• Investigate users' backgrounds or intentions

6. Your Responsibilities

6.1 Meeting Potential Matches

If you connect with someone through our service:

• Meet in safe, public places
• Involve your family/wali appropriately
• Conduct proper istikhara (prayer for guidance)
• Verify information independently
• Exercise caution and common sense

6.2 Safety

You are responsible for:

• Your own safety when meeting others
• Protecting your personal information
• Reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior
• Making informed decisions about potential matches

7. Profile Management

7.1 Active Profiles

Profiles will be posted in rotation subject to the total number of profiles.

7.2 Pausing Your Profile

You may request to pause your profile at any time by contacting us.

7.3 Removing Your Profile

To remove your profile:

• Contact us with your request
• We will remove you from rotation within 48 hours
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days (see Privacy Policy)

7.4 Profile Updates

To update your profile information, contact us with the changes.

8. Fees and Payments

Current Status: Our service is currently free to use.

We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future. If we do:

• We will provide at least 30 days' notice
• Existing users will be informed before any charges apply
• You may cancel your profile before fees take effect

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, text, etc.).

By submitting content, you grant us a license to:

• Use, display, and distribute your profile
• Format and edit your profile for posting
• Share your profile with potential matches

This license continues until you request profile removal.

9.2 Our Content

The Fatiha Marriage name, branding, and service are our property. You may not use them without permission.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using our service at any time by requesting profile removal.

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to remove profiles or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in prohibited conduct
• You provide false information
• We receive complaints about you
• We discontinue the service

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your profile will be removed from rotation
• We will stop posting your information
• Your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy

11. Disclaimers

11.1 "As Is" Service

Our service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11.2 No Professional Advice

We do not provide:

• Legal advice
• Religious rulings or fatwas
• Relationship counseling
• Marriage counseling

11.3 Third-Party Platforms

We use WhatsApp for distribution. We are not responsible for:

• WhatsApp's terms, policies, or functionality
• Changes to WhatsApp's service
• WhatsApp outages or issues

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are NOT liable for:

• Actions or omissions of other users
• Inaccurate or false information provided by users
• Unsuccessful matches or relationship outcomes
• Emotional distress resulting from using the service
• Any damages arising from meeting other users
• Loss of data or service interruptions

12.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the past 12 months (currently £0).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fatiha Marriage harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of others' rights
• Content you submit

14. Islamic Considerations

14.1 Halal Conduct

We expect all users to:

• Maintain Islamic principles of modesty
• Avoid khalwa (improper seclusion)
• Involve guardians appropriately
• Seek knowledge about Islamic marriage

14.2 Not a Religious Authority

We are a matchmaking service, not a religious authority. For Islamic guidance:

• Consult qualified scholars
• Seek advice from your local mosque
• Refer to authentic Islamic sources

15. Disputes and Governing Law

If you have a dispute, please contact us first to resolve it informally.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
